JAMMU, June 4: All India Confederation of SC, ST, OBC Organisations has claimed that Cluster University of Jammu has not mentioned the subject of Public Administration in the list for appointments of academic arrangements in its constituent colleges.
In a press conference here today R.K Kalsotra, J&K president of Confederation said youth of Jammu are highly qualified in Public Administration but there is hardly any college to teach the public administration subject in Jammu division while the Higher Education Dept in 2018 has ordered to start Public Administration course in the colleges of J&K.
He also said that majority of colleges of Kashmir have started Public Administration courses since 2018 but those of Jammu have yet to do so.
Kalsotra said that he apprised Cluster University of Jammu Registrar, Dr Rajinder Khajuria and Dean Academic Affairs, Bhupinder Singh regarding the issue and also submitted a memorandum.
He said that the Registrar has assured him for appropriate action.
