SRINAGAR, June 5: Continuing its efforts to safeguard the lives of people, Budgam Police along with Wildlife Department caught a leopard alive in the Khudpora Khansahab area of Budgam.

Around morning, Budgam Police received information from the locals of the area that wild animal was roaming in the residential areas of Khansahib which pose a threat to the locals, especially children. After receiving the information, teams of Wildlife officials armed with necessary gadgets along with Budgam Police visited the area and captured the leopard alive.
“The wild animal was captured alive without causing any injury. The locals of the area heaved a sigh of relief after the wild animal was captured,” police said.
