JAMMU, June 6: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Sharda Kumari kick started blacktopping work at Mahasha Mohalla of Ward-47, here today.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated by the Councillor in presence of District secretary Vivek Patyal, Des Raj, Tarsem Lal, Sumit Bajrangi, Akshey Kumar and other prominent citizens of the Ward, whereas the work is being executed by the Public Works Department.
Later, the Councillor along with AEE and JE also visited Ward-47and its surrounding localities and met with the locals who put forth various issues such as construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes etc.
Sharda Kumari assured that all the demands put forth by them will be redressed in a time-bound manner and also assured that all the ongoing development works of the said ward will complete soon with the cooperation of locals.
