Srinagar, June 12: Police in Handwara along with teams of the Geology and Mining Department today seized six vehicles involved in the transportation of illegally mined materials in Handwara.
On specific information, a Police Party from Police Post Langate along with teams of Geology and Mining Department seized six vehicles for transportation of illegally mined materials in Govt land at Nalla Mawar.
Accordingly, police said, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in concerned police stations and an investigation has been taken up.
