JAMMU, June 12: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS), led by its president Ashok Gupta today staged protest demonstration against alleged fake Ambulance Charitable Trusts for charging hefty amount from patients for ambulance services, here today.
The protestors were raising slogans against the alleged fake Trusts in front of the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu and alleged that due to negligence of the District Administration, Rs 10000 is being charged for ambulance service from Jammu to Katra while Rs 80000 were charged from Jammu to Chandigarh from the patients.
He also alleged that the ambulance drivers were hand in glove with these charitable organisations and charged hefty amount while shifting the patient at Ludhiana, Chandigarh and Amritsar based hospitals from Jammu.
Abhishek, Birbal, Sushil, Brij, Lovely, Prem, Rampal, Kalu, Vinay, Nanki, Gulshan and many others were present during the protest.
