RAJOURI, June 12: A house was completely gutted in a fire incident in Kalakote area of district Rajouri last night.
Official sources said that house of one Rajinder Kumar, son of Prem Chand, caught fire at village Kotkalal in Kalakote area last mid night. His eight family members, woke up and escaped to safety. However, their all the belongins were totally turned into ashes. Despite efforts of the family members, nothing could be saved. The cause of fire could not be ascertained.
Today police and revenue officials reached out to the family. They have been accommodated in the neighbourer’s house. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. Any help from the District Administration is yet awaited.
