JAMMU, June 13: President Bahu Fort Development Committee, Rajeev Charak along with J&K BJP vice president, Anuradha Charak and SHO Police Station Bahu Fort, Kirti Sharma distributed 200 dry ration kits among needy families in Bahu Fort area, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Charak emphasized on the help of needy persons during this difficult time and said that every BJP activist is serving the society under the Party’s mission ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan.’
He asserted that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) five kg wheat or rice and one kg pulses per month will be given free of cost to the poor of the county. “No other country in the world has such a food security scheme which will take care of food for everybody”.
Charak also stressed on the need of SOPs which includes wearing of masks, hand sanitizing, social distance, vaccination etc and requested all participants to follow all SOPs for welfare of community and safety of their families.
The SHO assured her full support and co-operation to the people during the event, while BJP vice president BJP Anuradha Charak thanked the SSP Jammu as well as concerned SHO of their goodwill gesture in distribution of dry Ration
Sher Singh Khokhar Booth president, Bharti Sagotra District treasurer BJP Mahila Morcha, Shallu Devi, Bodh Kumar Khokhar, Deep Raj, Raghunandan Singh Charak and Harish Balgotra coordinated the ration distribution drive.
