DODA, June 16: Forest Department seized 10 kilograms of banned minor forest produce.
As per sources, on specific information a team from Doda Forest Division laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK06A-2565, which was coming from village Shadiwan to Doda.
During checking, the team seized 10 kilograms of banned minor forest produce from the vehicle and registered a case under relevant sections of Indian Forest Act,1927.
The seized stuff and vehicle have been brought to Forest Complex Doda for further investigation.
The team headed by Range Officer Siraj Range Adil Shan seized the stuff under the supervision of DFO Doda Navneet Singh.
