JAMMU, June 16: Pouni Chak Police arrested two persons along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Pouni Chak laid a naka and intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 100 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the persons and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Sunil Kumar, son of Kundan Lal and Dharmveer Singh, son of Parshotam Lal, both residents of Lower Gadigarh.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Pouni Chak SI Dilawar Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
