BJP holds virtual meet, discusses party events

JAMMU, June 18: BJP’s unit of district Jammu West held a virtual meeting to discuss the upcoming events and programs of the party.
The meeting was addressed by former State president, BJP Sat Sharma (CA). It was held under the leadership of district president, Munish Khajuria. Vibagh Sangathan Mantri, Inderjeet Sharma, district Prabhari and Seh Prabhari Rekha Mahajan and Shailja Gupta also addressed the activists.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that coming days are very important as the party will hold a number of programmes up to booth level and it will be seen that the programs are held following the SOPs concerning COVID-19. While giving details of the programs, he said on June 21 programs of International Yoga Day will be held across Jammu West, then on June 23 programs on Balidan Diwas will be held which is observed as the Martyrdom Day of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, on June 25 nation and party will observe Black Day as it was day when the emergency was imposed by Congress in the country in 1975 and various symposiums and webinars will be held. Programmes on PM’s Mann Ki Baat on June 28 and July 6 is the birth anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee which will also be celebrated across UT, he said.
Inderjeet Sharma asked the activists to reach out to masses and properly implement the programs at grass root level. He said BJP works on the ideology of “nation first” and this has shown during the pandemic that amongst all political parties it is only BJP who worked for the welfare of masses during pandemic.
Munish Khajuria said that teams have been constituted ward wise to make the events as successful events and it will be seen that the programmes are executed up to booth level so that the mission with which BJP is working for the welfare of masses can be penetrated amongst the public.
District general secretary, Karan Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting and vote of thanks was presented by district general secretary, Rajesh Gupta.
Mandal presidents Raveesh Mengi and Keshav Chopra, district vice presidents Jaideep Sambyal and Ajay Manhas and others were present.
