CHATROO, June 19: Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori conducted a public darbar in which the Sarpanchs and party workers highlighted the burning problems faced by the general public like non-availability of funds for developmental works, here today.
It was stressed for the construction of earthquake resistant residential houses in seismic zones of Chenab Valley areas like Chatroo, Bunjwah, Thakrie, Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri, Ramban and Kishtwar.
Sarpanchs, Panchs, Congress Party Workers, officers of tehsil Chatroo participated.
While interacting with the people, Mr. Saroori said he will leave no stone unturned for redressal of their genuine demands. He gave on spot instructions to PHE and Rural Development Departments to address the problems of people at the earliest. He directed the officials to hold inquiry into poor condition of SSA school buildings.
Mr Saroori also urged CAPD Minister Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan to enhance the ration scale from 35kgs to 50 Kgs and gave special instructions that ration should be provided as per scale of 2011 census and not as per 2001 census.
Later Saroori interacted with public at Sinthan Top and inspected huts at Sinthan Top constructed by Beacon. He directed PWD (R&B) Department to complete their huts at an earliest.
