JAMMU, June 19: A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Assrey Chak area here, police sources said.
The deceased has been identified as Roop Singh, son of Des Raj, a resident of Assrey Chack, District Jammu.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for post-mortem.
Cognizance in this regard has been taken by Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo.
