MENDHAR, June 19: 2-day National Ndhiye-ya-Rasool Lelha Seerat-un-Nabi (S.A.W) conference was organized by Immam Ahmed Raza Welfare trust Mendhar, Poonch on June 18 /19 under the chairmanship of Imtiaz Ahmed Shanawaz Khan boths President and Gen Sec Immam Ahmed Raza Welfare Trust Mendhar, Poonch which was attended by over thousands of people from all walks of life concluded today.
The conference, was attended by renowned Scholars Dr Hussain Raza from Pattana and Gulam Rubani Ahmebad Bihar Sayeed Mohd Main which was held at Mendhar Poonch District of Jammu & Kashmir they were accorded a red carpet welcome by the members and Associates of Immam Ahmed Raza Welfare Trust.
The proceedings of the Conference got under way at 8 AM with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by Naat, which was presented by Faizana Majid, and Mohd Ikhalq.
ROHOO UL AMIN, a scholar from(M P) in keynote speech to the Conference. Quoted a number of references from the Holy Quran, Hadith and Juristic commentaries to prove that peace was essentially the message of every religion including Islam. He said that the Islamic teachings on the subject were manifest and there was no confusion about their interpretation. He, however, regretted that the religious scholars whose job was to protect the faith against every internal and external attack, failed to fulfill their duty.
Others who were present on the occasion include Molana Bashrat Hussain All India Personal Law Board Moulana Mohd Ayoub Nakshbandi Immam Jamia Masjaid Mendhar Molan Sheriaz Azari, Sultan Nakshbandi, Noor Alam Norri MLA Mendhar Sarder Rafiq Hussain Khan SSP Poonch Shahmeer Hussain SDPO Mendhar Amit Bhasin Talwat Sarwar Khan Dr P A Khan and also others.
