JAMMU, June 20: On the instructions of Ghulam Nabi Azad, president All India Congress COVID Task Force (AICCTF), Th. Jai Singh, Sr. Congress leader and his team accompanied by JMC Councillor, Gaurav Chopra and Ashwani Honda today distributed 200 COVID-19 kits to the people of village Khour Deonia in R.S Pura.
Speaking on the occasion, Jai Singh said that COVID-19 has created panic in whole world and we have to overcome this situation.
He talked about the advantages of COVID-19 kit and said that we have to follow guidelines issued by the authorities like social distancing, sanitization, wearing face mask etc.
The Congress leader also said that people should avoid crowded areas like markets and those above 18 years should get themselves vaccinated.
He stressed upon educating and making aware the people of far flung areas regarding the pandemic.
The COVID team also remembered Late Master Gurbachan Singh who was Sr. Congress leader and Chairman of Labana Biradari.
Those who were present on the occasion were Sarpanch Paramjeet Singh Pamma, Sarpanch Ashok Singh Salaria, Sarpanch Ajit Singh, Balbir Singh, president village Khour Deonia Gurudwara, Sohan Singh, Sandeep Singh Sandy, Nambardar Balwan Singh, Arun Singh Sunny, Rajinder Singh Gosha, Jarnail Singh Nasu, Parbhat Singh, Pala Ram and Subedar Rasal Singh.
