JU, SAS Trust organise webinar on Mata Roopbhawani

JAMMU, June 21- To commemorate the 4th Centenary birth year of Mata Shree Roop Bhawani, the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu in collaboration with Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust (SAST) organised a webinar on the topic ‘Mata Shree Roopbhawani a comprehensive perspective’. Prof. Manoj K. Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion and Dr. C.K. Gariyali, a prolific writer & former Secretary to Tamil Nadu Governor and Dr. Mahesh Koul, Doctoral Fellow, ICPR, New Delhi and Expert on Sanskrit Indian Philosophy were the guest speakers.
Prof. Manoj K. Dhar, in his presidential remarks complimented SAS Trust for organising a series of intellectual events to commemorate the 4th Centenary Birth Year of Mata Shree Roop Bhawani who is worshipped as the human embodiment of Mata Sharika. There is lot to learn from the life of Mata Roop Bhawani which would inculcate spirituality and positivity in our lives.
In her address, Dr. C.K. Gariyali informed in detail about the real life incidents of Mata Roop Bhawani and how mystical and divine she was. She also explained how much she was inspired by her divinity and has mentioned the same in her books. Dr. Mahesh Koul asserted that because of her mystical aura, the reverence of Mata Roop Bhawani is not limited to Kashmiri community only, she is Akhileshwari and is revered by all those who come across her divine deeds.
The event was conducted by Dr. Hema Gandotra and Dr. Surinder Kachroo from SAS Trust presented a vote of thanks.
