RAMBAN, June 21: Ashok Kumar, former MLA from Ramban has strongly urged upon Lieutenant Governor of J&K to direct the J&K Public Service Commission to immediately initiate the process for all vacant post of 10+2 Lecturers and College Lecturers in both School Education and Higher Education Department as the future of both students and qualified unemployed youth are at great risk in the Union Territory.
In a statement issued here, he said “after the bifurcation of J&K State into two union territories, qualified youth of both Kashmir and Jammu were promised by the BJP Government at Centre that they would provide and secure jobs for all highly qualified unemployed youth who have been, however, deliberately ignored and neglected by the present Government.
“This is not only hampering the unemployed qualified youth, but also the future of students and thus, national building,” he said and also urged upon the Government to increase the honorarium for all the contractual lecturers engaged in both Higher Secondary and Government Degree Colleges across the UT.
