Programme for celebration of Kabir Jayanti finalized

JAMMU, June 20: Kabir Jayanti will be celebrated on June 23 at Kabir Temple Janipur here with full religious fervour and gaiety. A grand function in this connection will Be organized by All J&K Sad Guru Kabir Sabha.
This was stated by senior vice president of the Sabha, G R Bhagat while talking to reporters here today along with its other members.
He appealed all district presidents, block presidents and other social and religious organizations are requested to extend their full support and co-operation in organizing the function.
He said a Shoba Yatra will be taken out on the occasion which will start from Satwari Chowk at 9.00 A.M sharp. The Shoba Yatra will comprise of various Jankies and approximately 600 to 700 vehicles which will including buses, matadors, tractor trolleys, other vehicles and motor-cyclists. The Shoba yatra will start from Main Chowk Satwari and move through main stop Gandhi Nagar, Vikram Chowk, Gumat, Indira Chowk, K.C.Morh, Shakuntla, Ambphala and culminate at Kabir Mandir Janipur where obeisance will be paid to the great spiritual master.

(retd) Swarn Singh advisor, district president Jammu Pardeep Bhagat, distt. president Kathua Babu Ram, distt. president Samba Dr. Buti Ram, distt. president Reasi, Dev Raj Bhagat, Distt. president Rajouri, Sat Pal, distt. president Kishtwar, Jagdish Raj Aryan, Gurbachan Bhagat, Cashier, Swami Raj Ji Bhagat Distt. President Ramban, Jai Ram Distt.
President Udhampur Gurdass Ram and all office bearers of the Central Executive Committee of the Sabha were present in the press conference.
He also informed that Sabha is going to honour the newly appointed officers to the IAS/IPS/IFS/KAS/KPS and students selected in
the professional courses i.e MBBS, BDS, BE, MBA, MCA etc.
Besides Sabha will also honour the students who have scored 85% or above numbers in Matric and higher classes examination, he added.
