Committee of reserved categories resents as no representative invited in APM

JAMMU, June 23: Joint Action Committee of Reserved Categories (JACRC) has expressed resentment against non-inclusion of representatives of SC, ST and OBC categories in All Party Meeting (APM).
In a press conference here today Asad Noomani, leader of JACRC claimed that reserved categories constitute 65 per cent of the total population of J&K.
“Not calling leaders of such categories in APM is very wrong and injustice with these categories,” he maintained.
Prof G.L Thapa, president All J&K SC, ST Retired Employees Welfare Forum questioned that who will discuss the issues of SCs, STs and OBCs in the meeting as none of the leaders of these categories has been invited in APM.
Mohinder Bhagat, president Bhagat Mahasabha said that PM Modi should direct J&K LG to implement all the Constitutional Rights of SCs, STs and OBCs as promised during the abrogation of Article 370 as nothing on ground has happened in this regard till date.
Sham Lal Bassan, president Dalit Chetna Manch said even Dr Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and Bukhari did not bothered to call representatives of SCs in their party meetings.
Prof Kali Dass, general secretary AIBCU also spoke on the occasion.
