SAMBA, June 23: Bari Brahmana Police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen gold ornaments worth Rs 1.50 lakh from their possession.
As per police sources, a lady namely Samardeep Kour, wife of Rakesh Kumar of Kalagate lodged a complaint regarding theft of gold ornaments from her house with Police Station Bari Brahmana.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 134/21 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bari Brahmana arrested two thieves and recovered stolen gold ornaments worth Rs 1.50 lakh from their possession.
The arrested persons were identified as Sagar Kumar and Baaj Ali alias Bajju.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by PSI Deepika Jalotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Rajesh Sharma, SDPO Bari Brahmana Nihar Ranjan and SSP Samba Rajesh Sharma.
