Army donates medical equipment, medicine to border village

KATHUA, June 24: To fight against the COVID-19, the Army Gurj Division provided the COVID related medical equipments and medicines for border villager of Bobiya in Hiranagar sector today.
The senior officers of Army handed over the medical kits which included the sanitizers, face mask, PPE kits, cough syrup, general medicine and Oxygen Gas cylinders valuing to Rs 2 lakhs to Sarpanch Bharat Bhushan,  BMO Hiranagar and medical team of PHC and Wellness Centre Bobiya for further distribution to needy people.
On the occasion, Sarpanch Bharat Bhushan and Medical Nodel Officer, Dr Supriya Sharma appreciate effort of Army to help the border villagers living at Zero Line and need of such medical support to fight against the COVID-19. The army Officer assured all possible help under operation Sadhbavna and said that Army always stands with Border people.
