5 CRPF jawans injured in road accident

KATHUA, June 24: Five CRPF jawans were seriously injured who were on duty in a bullet proof bunker vehicle when a speedy bus hit the vehicle in front of Police Station Rajbagh on Jammu- Pathankot National Highway today.
The accident took place when a bus bearing Registration Number JK21C 2940 was on the way from Kathua to Jammu collided with CRPF Bunker vehicle.  The collision was of so high voltage that CRPF bunker vehicle turned turtle on the road. The five CRPF personnel injured were shifted to GMC Kathua for treatment.
Rajbagh police has registered a case and started investigation into the matter. The bus driver fled away from the spot after accident.
