KISHTWAR, June 26: A K Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC conducted three-day visit to Kishtwar.
On this visit, A K Choudhary, Managing Director, Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt Limited (CVPPPL) and Rajan Kumar, Regional Head, NHPC Regional Office Jammu accompanied him.
During the visit, A K Singh also met Farooq Khan, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir at the Chenab Bhawan Guest House and discussed various issues related to the development of hydro projects in Kishtwar district. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, District Kishtwar was also present on the occasion.
Thereafter, the CISF personnel presented guard of honor to A K Singh. Dr Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services); R N Sharma, General Manager (Civil); Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical) and other senior officers of NHPC Dulhasti Power Station and CVPPPL were also present.
Earlier on Thursday, Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station and senior officers and employees of NHPC and CVPPPL. presented a warm welcome to A K Singh and his wife Sudha Singh on their arrival at Chenab Bhawan.
