JAMMU, June 26: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) under their newly floated Mission Statehood J&K started ‘indefinite protests’ demanding restoration of statehood with special status for J&K as no outcome emerged out of PM’s all party meet (APM).
JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple claimed that after APM meeting ‘Dilli Se Duri and Dil Se Duri’ has increased and people are disappointed.
“As there was no timeframe set for the restoration of statehood to J&K, Mission Statehood J&K has started indefinite protests for restoration of statehood with special status,” Dimple said while addressing the protesters.
Manjiet Anand, Sachin Soi, Satpal Sharma, Rupesh Bhat, Sat Pal Kohli, Chaman Pawar, Ashok Kumar Kala Kumar and others were also present in the protest demonstration.
