POONCH, June 21: A meeting of Pradesh Mahila Congress was held here today, in which large number of women workers took part.
The meeting being organised by District President Parveen Sarvar Khan, was presided over by Pradesh Mahila Congress President Indu Pawar.
While speaking, Pawar appealed for maintaining unity in the cadre. She said workers should meet regularly to discuss the problems and their redressal.
Parveen Sarvar Khan assured that all efforts will be made to unite the women and to bring them under one platform during the forthcoming Assembly elections.
Among others present were State Secretary Suman, Vandana, Prabha Slathia, Champa, district president, Samba and Veena, district president, Kathua.
