JAMMU, June 27: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Neena Gupta of Ward 50 today started construction of drain and culvert here in Sector-3, Channi Himmat.
The drain and culvert was a long pending demand of the locals there as the drains were not constructed in the area since the colony was established and this created problems especially in rainy season.
Speaking on the occasion Neena Gupta said that locals of the area will not face any problem on completion of this construction work.
She thanked the entire JMC team for its support and said that all other works including parks, lights etc will be taken up shortly and solution to water problem will also be reached soon.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Trishula Gupta, Kamlesh Magotra and others.
