JAMMU: Army troops have spotted another drone near Military Station in Ratnuchak-Kunjwani areas here in the city outskirts.
Earlier, Army on Monday had successfully thwarted the drone activity near Ratnuchak-Kaluchak Military Station along the Jammu-Pathankot national highway.
Security agency sources on Tuesday said that drone was spotted during the intervening night of June 28-29.
“The flying object was seen thrice in Ratnuchak and Kunjwani areas near the Army brigade,” they added.
Sources, however, asserted that firstly the drone was spotted at around 0108 hours at Ratnuchak, then at around 0309 hrs near Kunjwani and third time again near same location at around 0419 hours.
The troops exercised restraint and drones reportedly flew back. Subsequently, the area has been cordoned off, sources added. (AGENCY)
