JAMMU, July 1: Miran Sahib Police solved attempt to murder case with the arrest of five notorious criminals along with three sharp edged weapons.
As per police sources, on June 22 this year, a complaint was lodged by Police Station Miran Sahib by a person namely Parveen Singh, son of Sansar Singh of Khour Deonian Tehsil RS Pura regarding attack on him with sharp edged weapons by some unknown persons.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 72/2021 under Sections 307, 323, 382 and 147 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan was constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan.
The team did hectic efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area and other technical aids finally arrested the five accused, who were identified as Sahil Kumar alias Vishal, son of Bachan Lal of Bishnah, Jasvinder Singh, son of Gurbachan Singh of Khour Deonian, Gurdeep Singh, son of Gurcharan Singh of Khour Deonian, Ankit Motten alias Bablu, son of Ashok Kumar of Bahadhur Khan Bishnah and Jasbir Singh alias Babbu, son of Gurcharan Singh alias Makhanpur Singh of Khour Deolian.
On their disclosure, three sharp edged weapons were recovered from their illegal possession.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
