JWAM stages sit-in protest

JAMMU, July 1: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM), led by its president Sunil Dimple today staged sit-in protest against J&K Government’s unilateral decision of stopping ‘Darbar move’, here today.
The protestors were chanting slogans against the J&K Govt for its unilateral decision to stop ‘Darbar move’.
While addressing the protestors, Sunil Dimple said that stopping of the Darbar move by the Govt that too without any consultation with the stakeholders including political parties is murder of democracy and alleged that the BJP is responsible for destroying the identity, culture and history of J&K by stopping 150 years old Darbar move practice which was established by the Maharajas of princely state of J&K.
He also appealed to all the political parties, traders and transporters unions to come forward and raised their voices against the unilateral decision of the Govt to stop ‘Darbar move’.
