JAMMU, July 1: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor Pritam Singh today kick started blacktopping work with the estimated cost of Rs 23.55 lakhs at village Langer of Ward 55, here.
While interacting with locals, the Councillor said that all the ongoing development works of said ward including Hari Bihar Colony would be completed in time bound manner that too with the cooperation of concerned locals and concerned officials of the JMC.
Later, the Councillor along with JMC Executive Engineer, AEE and JE also visited the ward and its surrounding localities and met with the locals. The locals put forth various issues of public importance such as construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes, etc.
Pritam Singh gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine demands will be redressed in a time-bound manner.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated by the Councillor in presence of JMC Executive Engineer Satish Langer and prominent citizen of the area including Dwarka choudhary, Satish Sharma, Neeraj Kumar, Dr Vijay Sharma, Puran Chand, Saudagar Choudhary, Tanvir Kumar and many others.
