JAMMU, June 22: Under the UDAAN scheme, 31 Engineering students of Jammu were selected today for placement by multinational company Cognigent in the salary package of Rs 3.15 lakh per annum.
The placement drive was conducted in collaboration with Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) Jammu in the college premises where the Cognigent HR Manager Ashok Ranjith R had arrived personally for the selection.
While 21 students were selected for final placement, ten were short listed in the waiting category.
The drive was held under the supervision of GCET Principal Dr Smeeru Sharma and Dean Placement Jammu University Prof B C Sharma while GCET Assistant Professor Vaid Vishal and Ajay Abrol coordinated the event.
