Army, Rotary Club Rajouri Grand set up`Wall of Kindness’

RAJOURI, July 2: The Indian Army and Rotary Club Rajouri Grand have jointly established the `Wall of Kindness’ in Rajouri town to help the poor, destitute and needy people.
The `Wall of Kindness’, set up at the main gate of Army’s Landing Ground at Gujjar Mandi, Rajouri, where daily used items have been kept by Rotary Club Rajouri Grand and Army for the use of needy people, from where any needy person can take any item of his use for free.
On this occasion, President Rotary Club Rajouri Grand- Umesh Kumar told that this great work has been started to help such poor and destitute people who do not get the items of their daily use. `Wall of Kindness’ will help in providing free access to need based items to the weaker sections of the society, he added.
Umesh told that in our homes many such objects or goods which are no longer being used by us but could be useful to the poor or any needy person. We have placed all such things and goods at the Wall of Kindness, so that any poor and needy person can take it from there and use it. Others who were present on the occasion include Lokesh Bakshi, Rajesh Sharma, Rajesh Mehta and a few Army officers.
