REASI, July 3: Young man died and his mother sustained serious injuries when the motorcycle, they were riding, collided with a car on Reasi-Pouni road, here today.

The deceased was identified as Mohd Khalid (Babu) age around 35 years, son of Late Mohd Sadiq, resident of Sula Panassa, Reasi. He reportedly died on the spot. His mother Sawan Bibi (60) was seriously injured in the accident. She was immediately shifted to District Hospital Reasi for first aid from where she was referred to GMC & Hospital Jammu.
The accident took place when the motorcycle JK20-7957 collided head on with a swift car (JK02AN 7698) coming from opposite direction near Forest Check Post in Patta area on Reasi – Pouni road. The victims were on way towards Pouni.
