JAMMU, June 1: On the call given by Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations, BSNL employees told hold demonstration during lunch hours at GMTD Office, Rail Head Complex, pertaining to their long pending demands.
The trade union leaders showed their utmost annoyance for forcing the BSNL employees for demonstration, dharna and added that they will hold total strike from June 13.
Highlighting the demand, the speakers demanded Immediate implementation of DPE, revision of perks and allowances after revision of pay scales, transport allowance, children education assistance, tuition fees, hostel subsidy etc, family planning allowance, professional upgradatiion allowance, payment off medical allowances on quarterly basis as per BSNL MRS, restoration of all India LTC/leave encashment, implement child care leave and provision of superannuation benefits to directly recruited employees.
The gathering was addressed by Nisar Ahmad, Circle Secretary BSNLEU, SK Mahaldar Circle Convenor SNEA(I) and Chairman JAC, RJ Kaw, Circle Secretary, AIBSNLEA, Pushkar AIGTEOA, PK Bali, district secretary, TB Gadoo, NS Manhas, MK Kaul, Bansi Lal and many others.
