POONCH, July 3: A minor girl, who was drowned in Bedar river near Mandi three days ago, her body was retrieved today.
Official sources said that 9-year-old Asiya Bano, daughter of Mohd Sharief of Jallian village was drowned in river when she had gone for bathing. A joint team of police, SDRF and locals, was searching for her body. After long efforts today her body could be retrieved. After performing legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family by police.
