SRINAGAR, July 5: SSP Shopian Apritpal Singh today chaired a review meeting at District Police Office Shopian with all DySPs and SHOs of the district and directed the officers to clear the pending cases and complaints swiftly.
During the meeting, SSP held a detailed discussion on all fronts including security scenario, law and order, investigation, crime/complaints disposal, anti-terrorist operations, drug dealing, extraction of minerals and other issues.
“The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols,” police said in a statement.
SSP also stressed upon officers to redress public grievances on top priority in a time-bound manner.
“It was also emphasized to strengthen Police-Public relationship.
He also directed the officers to finalize the pending cases/public complaints within the shortest possible time on merits,” police said.
