Srinagar, July 9: The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) today sought suspension of NOCs issued in favour of four top Central Board of School Education (CBSE)-affiliated schools of Kashmir for the non-implementation of the orders of Fee Fixation Committee (FCC) as well as the harassment of parents.
In this regard, the Director School Education, Kashmir has written to the Government seeking immediate suspension of the NOCs issued to schools which include, Doon International School, HMT, Delhi Public School, Srinagar, Minto Circle School, Aloochi Bagh and G.D. Goenka, Lal Bazar.
It is to be noted that the JKBOSE had earlier suspended its facilities in favour of several schools including the these 4 after the DSEK took a note of the violation of FCC directives about the collection of dues from the parents.
However, with these schools affiliated with the CBSE, the DSEK has approached the Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department asking it to take up the matter of the violation with the CBSE authorities as well.
Earlier, the JKBOSE had suspended its facilities to schools that included Iqbal Memorial Institute (Boys & Girls Wings) Bemina, Srinagar; Holy Faith Presentation School, Canal Avenue, Rawalpora Srinagar; Hat Trick Public School Zakura Srinagar; Tiny Hearts School Tengpara, Bye-Pass Srinagar; Green Valley Educational Institute, Illahi Bagh Buchpora Srinagar; JK Public School Humhama Budgam and Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Raj Bagh Srinagar.
