Two absconders arrested

KISHTWAR, July 9: Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Kishtwar led by Inspector Abid Bukhari and assisted by Incharge Police Post Thakrie PSI Ankit Sharma under the supervision of DySP Headquarters and SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt conducted raid and apprehended two absconders, who was at large from the past seven and five years respectively.
The accused was identified as Tanveer Ahmed, son of Abdul Gabar of Keshwan and Waseem Ahmed alias Raju, son of Guma of Sangrambata District Kishtwar.
They were wanted in cases registered under FIR Numbers 160/2013 under Sections 457, 427 and 332 RPC & FIR Number 187/2016 under Sections 458 and 380 RPC respectively with Police Station Kishtwar.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
