New Delhi, June 24: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released consultation paper on “Monopoly / Market dominance in cable TV services”on June 3, 2013, inviting written comments from the stakeholders by June 24, 2013 and counter comments by July 1, 2013.
On request of the stakeholders, the last date for receipt of written comments and counter comments has been extended up July 1 and July 8 respectively. The comments / counter comments may be sent, preferably in electronic form to Rajkumar Upadhyay, Advisor (B&CS), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Mahanagar Doorsanchar Bhawan, Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, New Delhi – 110 002, on the e-mail address rkupadhyay@trai.gov.in / traicable@yahoo.co.in.
It has also decided that no request for any further extension of time for submission of comments / counter-comments shall be entertained, said a release by TRAI.
