BHADERWAH, June 24: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) observed “Shahidi Diwas” at Gatha Park, to pay tributes to Late Naib Subedar Chuni Lal.
On the occasion, senior army officers and officials laid wreaths on the statue of the Brave Soldier Naib Subedar Chuni Lal.
Army had also invited ex-servicemen, war veterans and NCC Cadets, in an effort to reach out to valuable and esteemed veterans, residing in remote areas of Bhaderwah and make them aware of the various projects being initiated by Army.
The veterans were given information of the latest welfare measures being extended by the Government and the Army through pamphlets and the widows were facilitate by gifts.
Speaking on the occasion, Ex-Naib Subedar Raj Singh Charak of village Wazir Kotli said that it feels nice to be recognized by an organization in which they have served during their prime-time of youth and wished that this association continues forever.
