Arms seized on LoC

Srinagar, July 12: Army today recovered arms and ammunition from Gogaldara area in the Keran sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that the Army recovered two AK-56 rifles, a pistol with holster along with several magazines and rounds of ammunition along the Line of Control in Keran sector.
The official said that last night, 22 Sikh regiment of Army recovered the arms and ammunition in the Gogaldara area in the Keran during the searches.
Police registered a case (FIR No, 04/21 under section 7/25 (1A) of Arm Act) in Police Station Keran and investigations started.
The recoveries include two AK-56 rifles along with six magazines besides 177 AK-47 rounds, and one pistol with holster along with 28 rounds.
