POONCH, July 14: At least 17 persons were injured in truck-bus collision at Dalera on Rajouri-Poonch highway in district Poonch today.
Official sources said that mishap took place when the bus (Canter) was coming from Surankote side to Poonch city and the truck was moving towards Rajouri. At a curve both the vehicles met head on collision on the highway at Dalera near Kanetar.
The locals of the area and police rushed to the spot and they shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Poonch. Later, three seriously injured persons were referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.

The injured were identified as Azad Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohd of Dundak; Nasir Hussain, son of Faqir Mohd of Dalera; Mohd Aslam, son of Mohd Hussain from Nabna; Nasir Ahmed , son of Shakeel Ahmed of Dundak; Mohd Fareed, son of Ghulam Din of Seri Khawaja; Rubina Bi, wife of Mohd Riaz of Dalera; Mohd Umar, son of Iqbal Mir from Surankote; Mohd Mushtaq, son of Mohd Bahadur of Malan Surankote; Abdul Khaliq, son of Mian from Malan Surankote, Rasheeda Bi, wife of Ali Mohd of Mandi; Shareefa Begum, wife of Ali Mohd of Mandi; Rubia Kouser, wife of Mohd Shafi of Surankote; Sardeep Ansal, son of Tirath Chand of Udhampur; Sakina Begum, wife of Tahir Mushtaq, resident of Surankote; Shaleena Begum, wife of Mohd Arif of Surankote; Zahida Kouser, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed of Surankote and Rubina Kouser, wife of mohd Riaz of Dalera.
