JAMMU, July 14: Team of Electric Division-II, JPDCL, Gandhi Nagar Jammu today conducted an inspection drive and disconnected 13 illegal domestic connections besides imposing penalty of Rs 1,26,450 for various violations.
On the directions of Superintending Engineer , Electric Circle I Jammu and Executive Engineer , Electric Division II, JPDCL Gandhi Nagar Jammu, team of Electric Sub-Division-I , Green Belt, led by AEE along with other field staff, conducted surprise inspection in Nanak Nagar, Sector I and its adjoining areas.
The inspection team disconnected 13 illegal connection, which were using power by hooking and thus causing overloading of the Sub stations.
JPDCL has once again requested all electric consumers not to use power by illegal means to avoid overloading .
