JAMMU, July 15: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that his party is propelling development to provide fillip to the much required support system capable of serving people at their door steps.
The former Deputy CM, was addressing a gathering after inaugurating development works in Friends Colony and Satyam Vihar falling under Ward No 52. He informed that the black topping work in these localities will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 43 lakh.
The senior party functionary said that BJP is diligently striving to create an infrastructure which will help in enhancing the facilities and will provide all the amenities required for the people in their respective areas.
Highlighting the development agenda of BJP, Kavinder said that he will not take rest till the time Jammu and Kashmir becomes ready to cater to all the needs of its residents and the visitors entering the vicinity as tourists and devotees since the UT is famous for religious tourism especially the Jammu city , which is popularly known as City of Temples.
Kavinder said that if people’s representatives would have worked in tandem with people’s aspirations during earlier regimes in J&K the scenario would have been different and there was no need to focus so much on development.
~~Whatever was the case in the past, BJP will not stop till, the J&K will attain a respectable slot among the developed UTs and States”, he said , adding that the days are not far when UT will be fully geared up with the edifice required for living with ease.
The locals present on the occasion accorded warm welcome to the BJP leader and said that they are delighted to see that former Deputy CM is taking so much pain in mitigating their day to day problems.
