JKPCC protests against deleting name of former PM

JAMMU, July 15: JKPCC has protested against the deleting the name of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi from the Rajiv Gandhi Hospital and LRPU Gangyal Jammu, inaugurated today by the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
JKPCC Vice President Raman Bhalla and Chief Spokesperson JKPCC Ravinder Sharma have raised questions over the renaming of the hospital by deleting the name of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi from the inauguration plate today.
Named after Rajiv Gandhi, this hospital was fully founded for upgrading to 100 bedded hospital by the UPA Government under Health Ministership of Ghulam Nabi Azad who released Rs 70 crores for the same, they added.
They said that the BJP Government at the Centre which is jealous of the achievements of the Congress party has led to the deletion of the name of former Prime Minister. This is very unfortunate and demanded immediate clarification and rectification of the same, the leaders added.
