JKPCC, NSUI support Class 10th students strike

Jammu, July 15 : Aggrieved 10th Class students met Senior Congress leaders including former Minister & Vice President PCC Raman Bhalla, Chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, National president NSUI Neeraj Kundan and apprised them about their struggle for mass promotion in 10th Class examination & efforts to crush their peaceful struggle.
Secretary PCC Sanjeev Sharma, PYC vice president Aiyaz Choudhar, Dr. Karan Bhagat, Sahil Sharma, Co-Cordinator Jatinder Singh, Rajesh Sharma were also present.
The students narrated the atrocity of the police during their peaceful protest yesterday in which several students were injured, some of them seriously.
The senor Congress leaders strongly condemned the police atrocity and the rigid attitude of the authorities towards their genuine demands.
They narrated how the results were prepared, in which out of 30 students the Roll No. 1 to 15 were declared pass and rest fail and smell something foul in the process.
The agitating students also complained about step motherly treatment to Jammu students, as mass promotion was done in Kashmir and various other states.
The senior Congress leaders listened to their demands patiently and extended full support to their peaceful struggle and urged the Lt. Governor to intervene in the matter of the future of young children and restore their issue immediately. NSUI will also extend full support to their cause, Neeraj Kundan said.
