JAMMU, July 16: Traders Community of Jain Bazar, Khilona Gali, Moti Bazar, Purani Mandi, City Chowk, Kanak Mandi and Raghunath Bazar today staged protest demonstration against the Government for stopping Darbar move practice, here today.
The protest was organised under the leadership of Sunil Dimple, president Mission Statehood at Purani Mandi and passed a resolution to continue their agitation till the Darbar move practice not restored by the Government.
Yogesh Sawhney, senior Congress leader extended full support to the traders of Jammu and expressed that resentment is brewing among the trading community against Government’s decision for stopping decades’ old practice, whereas Balvinder Singh appealed the LG to clear the stand on Darbar move, otherwise the agitation will be intensified.
