JAMMU, July 17: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir here today suspended Girdhari Lal, Private Secretary with the Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board.
In a Government order, Commissioner/Secretary General Administration Department (GAD), Manoj Kumar Dwivedi stated that an enquiry is pending into the conduct of Lal in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classified, Control and Appeal), Rules 1956.
The order further stated that during his suspension, the officer shall remain attached in the GAD.
It was further stated that Shabir Hussain Keen, Additional Secretary GAD shall conduct an enquiry into the matter and submit a report along with recommendations within a period of 15 days.
Meanwhile, the J&K Government has transferred Naresh Kumar, I/C Private Secretary (HoD Cadre) who was awaiting orders of adjustment in the Home Department.
A Government order by Commissioner/Secretary, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi stated that Kumar is now posted with the Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board, with immediate effect.
