DF&SS protests against discrimination in salaries to daily wagers

JAMMU, July 17: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta here today took out a protest rally against discrimination in the disbursement of salaries to daily wagers.
Addressing protesters Gupta claimed that 403 daily wagers are being paid salaries in Kashmir valley while only 40 in Jammu.
He alleged that new Director of Fisheries Department is anti-Jammu and openly says against the people of Jammu and this is visible in his act of disbursement of salaries using different yard stick in Jammu and in Kashmir.
The protesters raised slogans against Director Fishe-ries for such discriminatory attitude and appealed J&K LG to ensure equal treatment to the daily wagers regionally and provide salaries to the daily wagers of Jammu too.
Those who were present in the protest were Abhishek, Bantu, Fauji, Kalu, Naresh, Pradhan, Gurutej, Prem and others.
