JAMMU, July 19: The sleuths of Police Station Bishnah and District Special Branch (DSB) arrested a man for illegal manufacturing and selling illicit liquor to his customers.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh along with DSB personnel conducted raid and apprehended a man for illegal manufacturing illicit liquor and selling it to his customers.
The arrested person was identified as Ram Saran, son of Babu Ram of Village Chak Harni Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu. 30 litres of illicit liquor was also recovered from the possession of arrested person.
A case under FIR Number 118/2021 under Section 48 A E & F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
