MENDHAR, July 24: The police arrested two absconders wanted in a case by Mendhar Police Station, evading arrest for the last 28 years.
SSP Poonch, Dr Vinod Kumar said that these two persons namely- Mohammad Mahroof, son of Wazir Hussain and Mohammad Rafiq, son of Mir Mohammad, both residents of Chak Banola, Mendhar in Poonch were booked in a case FIR No. 117/1993 under sections 382, 337, 325, 147 RPC but were evading their arrest from last 28 years.
They have been arrested now by a team of police from Mendhar Police Station and further legal proceedings have been initiated.
